Annotation: The article discusses the use of artificial intelligence in the administration of justice. The study is based on an analysis of case law. The definition of artificial intelligence is considered from both theoretical and practical points of view. The essence of artificial intelligence is analyzed. A comparison of various definitions of artificial intelligence presented in educational literature and documents of the European Parliament is carried out.
