Annotation: The paper substantiates the relevance of such a policy in the context of external sanctions, technological isolation, and economic imbalances among the country's regions. Eight goals of modern industrial policy are formulated and described in detail, drawing on international experience. Recommendations for implementing industrial policy for the Republic of Bashkortostan, a region with high production and scientific-technical potential, are formulated.
