Annotation: This article examines the nanny institution in contemporary Russia as a composite social institution. Drawing on a content analysis of online advertisements across five cities in the Russian North, the study reveals the socio-demographic profiles of nannies, their employment arrangements, and the principal driver of demand - trust - which underpins the triad of "professionalism, care, and transparency".
