Annotation: The paper examines three contemporary concepts of regional governance in terms of their applicability to the Donetsk People’s Republic. A comparative analysis of these concepts is conducted with due regard to the specific features of the region. Based on the analysis, directions for adapting the considered conceptual tools to the practice of regional governance are proposed.
