Annotation: This article presents the results of a survey of the population of the Republic of Belarus on road safety, including the causes of violations, assessment of the performance of the State Traffic Inspectorate, and the state of the infrastructure. A shortage of potential elements of a safe environment for the SPM is noted, requiring priority development while strengthening enforcement of traffic regulations.
