Annotation: The paper suggest that index method should underlie the methodological approach to assessing the level of municipalities’ economic well-being, since it corresponds to the construct’s multi-factor nature as well as allows incorporating the propositions of spatio-temporal, evolutionary and ethical-philosophical methodologies into its research.
