Authors: Eliza Ilgizovna Khakimova, Iliza Ildarovna Khabibullina

Annotation: The article examines the influence of generational affiliation and gender stereotypes on the formation of career strategies among Russians. The theoretical framework is based on the Strauss-Howe theory of generations, the concept of the precariat by G. Standing, and the intersectional approach. The study reveals significant differences in attitudes towards stability, readiness to change professions, and employment forms between generations X, Y, and Z. Special attention is paid to the intersection of generational and gender factors: it is shown that women's career trajectories remain more discontinuous and influenced by the "glass ceiling" even within the same generation.

Keywords: Labor trajectories, Generational theory, Gender asymmetry, Career strategies, Russian labor market, Millennials, Zomers
