Annotation: The study assessed the state and trends of the demographic potential of the Northwestern Federal District regions. The calculation of integral indices of demographic potential – quantitative (IqnDP) and qualitative (IqlDP) was carried out, regions were grouped according to their ratio. The information base was the official data of Rosstat for 2019-2023.
