Annotation: The article presents the experience of implementing the value-oriented event «Meeting with our own people: a dialogue of generations in the name of memory and unity» at Petrozavodsk State University. It describes the script solutions and methodological techniques for organizing dialogue between students, veterans of the special military operation, and young scientists. The significance of this format for university educational work is substantiated.
