Annotation: The analysis of indicators characterizing the capital of trade enterprises of the northern regions and their impact on the quality of life of the population is carried out. A large share of completely worn-out fixed assets of the trade market is revealed. Key factors influencing the dynamics of depreciation of fixed assets are determined. It is noted that the regions of the Far North are characterized by a deficit of retail space.
