Annotation: The study presents an assessment of the relationship between internal costs for ICT in the regions of Russia and indicators of the development of science and education. It was found that there is a close correlation between internal ICT expenditures and the following indicators: number of personnel involved in scientific research, advanced production technologies employed, and number of personal computers in professional educational institutions.
