Annotation: The article presents a correlation analysis of Russian Federation regions based on population income levels. Regions with low, median, and high income levels were identified within each federal district. It was found that the grouping of regions by income level is influenced by various factors, including, for example, economic specialization. The results of the analysis may be useful for developing and monitoring regional policy measures.
