Annotation: This article examines the potential for developing value chains in the agricultural sector of the Volga Federal District amid economic modernization and digital transformation. Based on 2022–2024 statistics, it identifies key barriers and growth points for integrating regions into global value chains. The study emphasizes cluster cooperation, digital platforms, and innovation incentives. It argues that engaging primary agricultural production in deep processing and exports is essential to strengthening regional economies.
