Annotation: : the article presents the results of sociological research of advertising activity of secondary educational institutions of Tver, conducted by questionnaire survey method. The main channels of promoting educational services, methods of attracting applicants and tools of forming the image of educational institutions are analyzed. Special attention is paid to the evaluation of the effectiveness of various advertising strategies on the basis of respondents' opinions. The material can be useful for specialists in the field of education and marketing.
