Annotation: The subject of the research is the economic relations arising in connection with the distribution of budgetary funds among regions allocated for the support of agriculture. A methodology is pro-posed for analyzing the effectiveness of subsidies under various natural and economic conditions of activity. The distribution of subsidies based on the efficiency of their use will make it possible to activate those competitive advantages of regions through which production becomes most prof-itable for business and least costly for society
