Annotation: The text examines the influence of territorial identity on the choice of educational institution. The study shows that students choose vocational education because of accessibility and orientation to the local labor market, and universities because of the desire to receive a more prestigious education. Students planning migration are more likely to choose universities, while those who plan to stay in the region choose vocational schools.
