Annotation: The Tambov Region, like other regions of Russia, has a number of environmental problems that have a negative impact on the quality of life and the environment. The purpose of this work is to develop approaches for solving environmental problems that will contribute to the sustainable development of the Tambov region. This study examines the environmental problems of the Tambov region, namely air, water and soil pollution. As a result of the research, ways to solve these environmental problems are proposed.
