Annotation: This article examines the concept of social well-being and presents the features of social optimism and pessimism as part of the social well-being of young people. Based on theoretical and empirical data, conclusions have been drawn about the social optimism and pessimism in social well-being, and recommendations have been developed to improve the standard of living of the population.
